SOF-99-303 Motion Trainer Safety

Motion Trainer with Safety by SOF-TEK Integrators, Inc. is a platform designed for learning, experimenting and developing TwinCAT motion control and TwinSAFE. The Motion Trainer with Safety includes a power supply, a Beckhoff CX9020 CPU, two Beckhoff AM8111 servomotors, two servomotor terminal controllers, and the EL6900 TwinSAFE Logic terminal, safety inputs and outputs. With the tutorial and sample motion control code, users will get an introduction to Beckhoff libraries for Numerical Control (Tc2_MC2) and basic synchronized motor control. Users will also get a brief introduction to TwinSAFE and Safety PLC programming. The tutorial is intended to familiarize the user with the TwinCAT3 IDE and such topics as configuring drives, EtherCAT Bus masters, establishing links to slave devices as well as a basic understanding of structured text (ST) and Continuous Function Chart (CFC) programming.
